The Faculty of Biology and Animal Science University of Environmental and Life Sciences in Wrocław undertakes to ensure the accessibility of its website in accordance with the provisions of the Act of April 4, 2019 on digital accessibility of public entities’ websites and mobile applications. State in terms of compliance with the Act
The website is partially compliant with the Digital Accessibility of Public Entities' Websites and Mobile Applications Act due to the inconsistencies or exclusions listed below.
Inaccessible content
- Incorrect alternative descriptions for some images. In the newly published images, the alternative descriptions are correct.
- Repeated link names on several subpages.
- Animations and transparency are used in the basic version of the website, negatively affecting the contrast.
- The promotional video does not have an audiodescription option. Work on the preparation of audiodescription is in progress. It will be created by the end of 2021.
- Some of the digital documents on the website are in the form of unrecognized scans in pdf format. Most of the pdf files do not have the document structure assigned.
- In the contrast version links to Facebook on subpages containing news do not meet WCAG 2.1 requirements.This is due to the need to comply with the brand book of this portal.
- Information about a university's core activities does not have alternative access. Work on preparation of information in an alternative form (ETR, PJM) is in progress. It will be created by the end of 2021.
